History

The Afropolitan digital nation plan was launched around 2021.

In 2022, it raised $2.1 million in pre-seed funding from investors including Balaji Srinivasan, the founder of Network School.

It expanded through Afropolitan Cities, organizing city tours and takeovers, such as the T.I.A. Ghana Tour in 2025.
