Masa Madre

A one-month pop-up city in Buenos Aires for a deliberately mixed group of people from different disciplines, cultures, generations, and economic backgrounds. There are no assigned tracks: residents spend the first weeks exploring, then commit to making something, such as a prototype, artwork, paper, organization, or honest account of what failed. Public days open and close the month, which ends with an open studio rather than a competition. The project is at an early stage and has a waitlist. Estimated attendance: 25–100 (editorial estimate).
